Kampala — A GSM Association survey has shown that Ugandan mobile users were the second most taxed in the world, and that this was slowing growth.
The survey identified taxes on services and handsets to be the most important variables in the overall tax burden and found that average taxes in 50 of the world's emerging markets came to 17.5 percent of users' spending.
