Nigeria: President, in Ondo, Expresses Concern Over Pipelines Vandalisation

Akure — PRESIDENT Olusegun Obasanjo yesterday continued his three-day official visit to Ondo State with the commissioning of the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation NNPC depot at Ore.

The contract was awarded by the Petroluem Products Marketing Company PPMC at a cost of N5.2 billion after it was vandalized about eight years ago. The depot which supplies petroleum products to three states suffered the fate following which the products became scarce.
