Gambia: We Are a Super Power--Jameh

Addressing thousands of Gambians and foreign nationals at the July 22 Square in Banjul on Thursday, in a thanksgiving ceremony, following the successful hosting of the African Union Summit, President Jammeh said The Gambia is a super power because the country provides comfort, solace and inspirations to all. The President address was followed by the decorations of Miss Ghana as the African Queen 2006 and the first and second runners up, Miss Gambia and Miss Ethiopia respectively. The crowd was later invited to a beach party behind the State House which went on till late night.
