Cameroon: BLCC Position On Fakoship Bid for Tole Tea

The Bakweri Land Claims Committee, BLCC, is pleased to note the interest of FAKOSHIP to acquire Tole Tea Estate. Tole is just one of the three tea estates of the Cameroon Development Corporation, CDC, which were alleged to be privatised in 2002.

It was then publicly declared that a South African consortium known as Brobon Finex (Pty) Ltd. had purchased the tea sector of the CDC in pursuance of government's policy of privatising CDC, for a paltry FCFA 1.5 billion.
