The role of JAB, as its name suggests, is purely to admit qualified students to public universities. The Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE) examination graduates picked by JAB get Government scholarships and are also eligible for Higher Education Loans Board financial assistance if they meet certain conditions.
