Sierra Leone's Civil Service can be rightly called an Evil Service.

It's one sector that can make or break. The tendencies of civil servants determine the longevity of a government. In Sierra Leone, every one knows that they have a perchance for evil. They perpetuate most of the phenomena militating against government. That is why when a government comes newly to power it is hailed because by then the evil servants have not established familiarity with the Executive. But as time goes on, they penetrate, lure with irresistible temptations and manipulate those in the executive. They then start to manipulate policies for pecuniary gains, frustrate the public in terms of service delivery and embezzle state funds. When criticisms are levied against government, people hardly take into consideration the roles of evil servants into consideration.
