Bakau — When the Nigerian jet liner taxied and landed at Banjul's International Airport on Saturday afternoon under the sweltering African sun, it had among its passengers, a famous military officer in the person of Major Khalipha Bajinka the erstwhile Commander of the State House Security Guard.
Since we at The Echo were privy to Bajinka's return on Saturday as reported here last week, our lenses were beamed on Banjul. Surprisingly, when the young major disembarked after a year's long absence from home, he went through the normal immigration protocols and was let go without incident.
