Johannesburg — A GAPING hole in the door of the principal's office is one of many marks of rampant vandalism at a Pietermaritzburg school.
At least 90% of the windows at the Esther Payne Smith Secondary School in Northdale have been broken, classroom doors, ceilings and toilets have been destroyed, and parts of the perimeter fence have been torn down.
