Kampala — KAMPALA City Council auditors are probing several incidents where millions of shillings from the national treasury passed through the local authority accounts under unclear circumstances.
The Chief Internal Auditor, Mr Joseph Baitwa, has raised a query over five cheques worth a total of Shs1.8 billion that passed through KCC accounts in a space of two months between last December and February this year.
