Nigeria: Two Expatriates Oil Workers Abducted in P-Harcourt

Port Harcourt — TWO expatriate oil workers, a Belgian and a Moroccan were yesterday abducted by unknown gunmen in Port Harcourt. The Police gave their names as Frederick and Nasiri. They could not confirm their place of work at press time.The Police said they have not established contact with any of their abductors.

Briefing on the development yesterday, the state Police Commissioner, Samuel Adetuyi who described the incidents as sad and regrettable appealed to the public to assist the Police with useful information that will help track down the abductors. Already, he said they had stepped up security in the state.
