Angola: Three Sports Get Olympic Scholarships From IOC

Luanda — The national teams of males basketball and ladies handball, as well as the swimmer João Matias got training scholarships from the International Olympic Committee (IOC) viewing the 2008 Beijing Olympic Games, ANGOP learnt from an official source.

According to the Secretary General of the Angolan Olympic Committee, Mario Rosa, the various athletes were selected by sports Federations early 2006.
