AN ORBIS Flying Eye Hospital has arrived in the country from America to provide public education about blindness, build political and public support for eradicating blindness and provide technical, material and financial assistance to improve access to quality ophthalmic services.
The three-week programme, themed 'ORBIS GHANA 2006', is aimed at training eye care professionals, health care workers, and strengthening the capabilities of local partners to prevent and treat blindness.
