Eritrea: Aforestation Activities Being Stepped Up in Adi-Quala

Adi-Quala — In line with the ongoing aforestation program in the country, the residents of Adi-Quala town are carrying out effective tree planting activities. Accordingly, they have planted 6,000 different tree seedlings and constructed 12,000 meters of terraces.

The Administration of Adi-Quala sub-zone indicated that the necessary steps would be taken to take good care of the newly planted seedlings.

Meanwhile, the inhabitants of Mai-Gorzo administrative area have renovated a 5 km.-long road connecting Mai-Mine with Mai-Gorzo through campaign. Previously, the road was not rendering efficient transport services due to the damaged it sustained as a result of heavy rains.
