Nairobi — Tanzania is rushing the completion of the construction of a fish testing laboratory ahead of the European Union fish inspection team expected in the country next month.
The EU team is expected to conduct sanitary inspection for Nile perch from Lake Victoria at the Mwanza-based laboratory with the aim of strengthening export health controls and improve production conditions in Tanzania.
