South Africa: Growth Spurt for GEMS Membership

The Government Employees Medical Scheme (GEMS), has been experiencing "phenomenal growth" since the beginning of this year, with 300 new members joining the scheme daily over the past month.

"I am excited to see the upsurge in confidence by government employees. GEMS has not only grown substantially, but has shown an increasing daily growth rate for more than 200 consecutive days," GEMS' Principal Officer, Dr Eugene Watson said.
