Kampala — UGANDA can replicate Ireland's economic success if the right policy decisions are taken to transform the country's largely agro-based economy into one that churns out goods and services that are competitive at a global market level.
Dr. Garret Fitzgerald, the former Irish premier who was at the helm during his country's transformation, said the Irish experience is more relevant to Uganda's situation than any other European country.
