Angola: Malian Parliament Speaker Acknowledges Government Efforts

Luanda — Malian Parliament speaker Ibrahim Boubakar Keita Thursday in Luanda said that he is impressed with the efforts developed by the Angolan Government towards the national reconciliation and reconstruction process of the Southern African country.

The West African nation's parliamentarian was speaking at the end of an audience with the Angolan President Jos' Eduardo dos Santos, attended by the country's Parliament speaker Roberto Victor de Almeida.

According to Boubakar Keita, the Angolans deserve the solidarity of the African people on this path toward development.

The Malian Parliament speaker called on the international community to follow up and aid the positive actions carried out by the Angolan Government, in this time of peace.

Ibrahim Boubakar is in Angola since last Sunday at the invitation of his Angolan counterpart.
