Luanda — Foreign Minister João Miranda receives new World Bank representative Alberto Chueca

The control of inflation and reserve accumulation rates shows that Angola is on good path, said Friday in Luanda the new representative of the World Bank (WB) to Angola, Alberto Chueca.

The World Bank official was speaking on the sidelines of the meeting he held with Angolan Foreign Affairs Minister, João Miranda, in the ambit of a courtesy visit that precedes his official presentation, scheduled for next week.

The WB official said that Angola is enjoying a moment of improvement in macroeconomic management although there are many challenges in social sector and in private business-related activity.
