Nigeria: Alleged Link to Secessionist Group, SSS Probes Top Politicians and Arrests Suspect

Abuja — THe State Security Service (SSS) has ordered a probe into some top politicians (names withheld) relationship with a secessionist group in the Cameroons that claims sovereignty over Bakassi Peninsula and parts of Southern Cameroons.

The probe followed the interception of a letter from the group to the politicians soliciting their financial support for the rebel movement which aims to shape a portion of Southern Cameroons with Bakassi into an independent country.
