Uganda: Kiyingi Seeks Custody of His Daughter

Kampala — DR Aggrey Kiyingi, the Australian heart surgeon on trial over the alleged murder of his wife, Robinah Kiyingi, wants to regain custody of his daughter.

The 16-year-old girl (names withheld), the youngest of Kiyingi's four children with the deceased, was taken over by her maternal aunt; Dr. Eva Kasirye Alemu, through court shortly after her mother's death. Dr Kiyingi was in jail on remand then.
