Lagos — The 2006 Annual General Conference of the Nigerian Bar Association has come and gone and as is customary with this column, it's time to look back at the conference. It had its moments, such as then NBA President Lanke Odogiyon's call for EFCC boss Nuhu Ribadu's removal, as well as the censure of FCT Minister Nasir el-Rufai. Conference bags were ready quite alright, just that they were empty, save for election campaign materials. The process of registering was also rather clumsy and time-consuming and could have been more streamlined. Still, in spite of that it was a rather good conference, excellent in some other respects.
