Kampala — Environmentalists have warned of massive depletion to forests if schools do not readjust to using metallic furniture, reports Daniel Edyegu.
They said research had shown that with the number of schools on the rise, demand for timber products and fuel had increased.
Silas Anguti, the Tororo district forestry officer, said this at Tororo Teachers Resource Centre at during a workshop organised by National Forestry Authority.
