Kaduna — He's weathered through more thunderstorms of controversy than many, many artistes combined together, but the resilient Eedris Abdulkareem keeps elevating his game to higher heights. He's been accused of being too full of himself, but every album he unleashes highlights a more focused and lyrically on-point artiste with a sense of direction and it becomes more evident that he's here to stay. Weekend Magazine puts the spotlight on the enigmatic artiste.

The artiste explained that as a result of President Obasanjo's response to his song, he cut another one "which is 'Letter to Mr President' to further explain what Jaga-Jaga was all about. And I know that the president appreciates me so much." However, conflicting reports in interviews and articles suggest a strained relationship between the artiste and the singer.
