Nigeria: FG Probes Admission Scandal in College

Abuja — Federal Government has commenced inquisition into admission scandal rocking one of its colleges, Federal Government Girls College, Bwari, Abuja, and principal of the school, Hajia Funmilayo Gold, back-loaded to the Federal Ministry of Education. In her absence, her deputy has been mandated to step into the office in an acting capacity.

Unveiling the development, the ministry said in a statement in Abuja yesterday that its action was a reaction to a report last Saturday by THISDAY newspaper.
