Nigeria: FG Engages Legal Experts for London Club Debt

Abuja — The Federal Gover-nment said yesterday that it had interviewed and would soon appoint legal experts to serve as advisers for the country's final exit from the London Club, which debt totals $2.4 billion.

The Federal Govern-ment plans to exit the London Club debt, which includes oil warrants, promissory notes and par bonds, by the first quarter of 2007.
