South Africa: Chinese Firm Tables Stadia Construction

Lusaka — THE Chinese firm that has been engaged to construct ultra modern stadia in the run-up to the 2010 World Cup in South Africa has presented the designs and payment options to the sports ministry.

Sports Permanent Secretary Bob Samakai said in an interview yesterday that the design for a 70,000 seater was ready and that several payment options had been presented to the ministry.
