Nigeria: Bayero Tasks Govt On Pastoralists and Farmers' Clashes

The emir of Kano, Alhaji Ado Bayero has called on both state and local governments to map out strategy that would put an end to the conflicts between pastoralists and farmers in Kano State.

Emir Bayero made the plea at the opening ceremony of a two-day stakeholder's workshop on Pastoralists-Farmers Conflicts jointly organized by the Pastoral Resolve (PARE) and Agricultural Development in Nigeria (ADENI) project held in Kura local council.
