Ghana: Flush Out All Mushroom Schools

THE ESTABLISHMENT of private schools in the country has been very instrumental in helping Government's effort, in providing and making education accessible to all. These schools have over the years gained acceptance and preference against the public schools mainly due to the perceived quality tuition and high academic performance of its students.

Although fees, in these private schools are rather on a high side, most parents find it a better option to providing their wards with better education. Notwithstanding the efforts of parents in the investments in their wards, some of these schools are taking them for a ride and mainly poised to siphon everything from their pockets.
