Rwanda: Frw7m for Kiyanzi Returnees Camp

Kigali — The Minister in charge of Gender and Family promotion in the Prime Minister's office Valerie Nyirahabineza has handed over donations of food, clothes and home utensils worth Frw7million to Rwandan returnees from Tanzania who are now settled in Kiyanzi transit camp located in Kirehe district of Eastern province.

"It is absurd and very difficult to believe if you listen to these people the way they were harassed by their sister nation. We have come to observe the situation and we have not come with empty hands, we have come with something but our support is not enough according to what I have seen here today," she said.
