Kumi — Traditional birth attendants (TBAs) are creating wonders in rural Ngora, in Kumi district. The number of rural pregnant women in the area that need assistance and guidance has rapidly fallen since 2003 due to the campaign by TBAs.
According to Ms. Rebecca Agwang, the chairperson of the TBA group in Orisai village, numbers have increasingly fallen since the group started its activities in the area.
