Zimbabwe: Jailed GMB Ex-Manager Faces Fresh Fraud Charges

Harare — THE Murehwa Grain Marketing Board saga re-emerged last Tuesday when a jailed former manager at the parastatal appeared at Murehwa Magistrates' Courts facing three more charges of defrauding his employer of more than $700 000.

Honest Chiwetu (29), the former manager, is already serving an effective 12 months in prison for a fake delivery voucher valued at $960 000 in the name of his friend, Muchineripi Chawira (30).
