Uganda: Ultimate Security Wins URA Tender

Kampala — ULTIMATE Security has won a tender to provide security services to the Uganda Revenue Authority's (ura) offices countrywide.

Enoch Walugembe, URA's assistant commissioner for enforcement, said, "URA has outsourced security services.

It is a transitional process that will see the Police phased out gradually."

Walugembe said the process would be in two phases, where Kampala would be covered first before rolling out countrywide.

He said the process would be completed next year.

Walugembe said they had split the process into two phases because it requires a lot of money.
