Uganda: Manafwa District Fights Youth Unemployment

At least 34 out of every 100 youths in Sironko, Manafwa, Bududa and Mbale districts are believed to be unemployed.

A research conducted by Pasa vocational Institute entitled; 'Causes of unemployment amongst the rural youths in Bugisu' [Mbale, Manafwa [Bududa and Sironko] estimates that 66 per cent of the youths drop out of school between Primary 7 and Senior 6.
