Luanda — Angola's Head of State Jos' Eduardo dos Santos on Tuesday in Luanda dismissed the head of National Police, commissioner Jos' Alfredo Ekuikui and the chief of Army Staff of the Angolan Armed Forces (FAA), General Agostinho Fernandes Nelumba.
According to a communiqu' issued by the Aid Services to the Presidency of the Republic, the Angolan president has also sacked Vicente Matias Felix, from the post of deputy Minister of Defence for Administration and Finances, Ambassador to Zimbabwe, Joaquim Augusto de Lemos, ambassador to Serbia Republic, Filipe Felisberto Monimambo, and the ambassador to Slovakia, Domingos Culolo.
The head of National Air Force (FAN) General Pedro de Morais Neto and the chief of the Main Department of FAA General Staff Operations, General Francisco Pereira Furtado were also dismissed by the Angola Statesman.
However, President Dos Santos appointed General Agostinho Fernandes Nelumba 'Sanjar' as the deputy Minister of Defence, General Francisco Pereira Furtado as the new head of Army Staff of the Angolan Armed Forces, Alberto Correia Neto as the Angolan ambassador in Slovakia and Ambr½sio Lukoki as the new ambassador to Tanzania.
The President of the Republic has also appointed Domingos Culolo as the ambassador to Sweden and Filipe Felisberto Monimambo as the new ambassador to Zimbabwe.
On the other hand, General Pedro de Morais Neto was proposed for future ambassador to Zambia.
