Nigeria: Mourinho Wanted By Inter Milan

Lagos — Sport of the World can exclusively reveal Inter owner Massimo Moratti has directly contacted Mourinho's agent, Jorge Mendes.

Inter chief Roberto Mancini is under pressure and faces the sack.

A source close to the Inter owner said: "Mr Moratti would love to have Jose Mourinho in as the manager of the club if Mancini goes.

"He is absolutely the first choice to become the new manager. Mr Moratti has already spoken with Jorge Mendes about this."

Mega-rich Moratti would have no problem in matching Mourinho's £5million-a-year wages at Chelsea. Mourinho admitted he came close to walking away from Stamford Bridge last season and there was already speculation this could be his final year.
