Mozambique: Customs Will Reach Target, Predicts Minister

Maputo — Mozambican Finance Minister Manuel Chang has said that customs revenue will reach this year's target of 11 billion new meticais (about 440 million US dollars), an increase of 20 per cent on last year, mainly thanks to the partnership with the British company Crown Agents, which trained the Mozambican staff who are now managing customs.

Chang told reporters that even after the contract with Crown Agents ended, in early July, the management of customs continued to run smoothly, because the British company had done its job well in terms of training.
