Nigeria: It is Sad That Many South South Governors Want to be President - Uduaghan

Secretary to the Delta state government, Emmanuel Uduaghan has said it is unfortunate that the south south has three governors vying for the Presidency. Although a staunch supporter of power shift to the region, the SSG (who has since resigned to run for the office of governor) noted that the problem of the south south is their inability to speak with one voice, stressing that this fact has often denied the area of the Presidency. He noted that it would have been more desirable if the state has a unified approach to the issue. On his candidature the trained medical doctor said his ambition is anchored on his experiences panning all the years of the regime. He was commissioner of health before he was made SSG. He said he is more experienced than the other contenders. He spoke with Emmanuel Bello. Excerpt:-
