Kampala — KENYA won the Africa Motorcycle Union (AMU) Brookhouse East Africa Motocross Challenge held at Jamhuri Park Circuit, Nairobi on Sunday.
Kenya collected 1,351 points to Uganda's 650. Uganda went into the challenge with 320 points to Kenya's 170 after winning the first leg held at Garuga double circuit in May this year.
Captain Arthur Blick was the highest ranked Ugandan rider, finishing third in the Open class behind three times Kenya champion Anthony Nielsen on a Yamaha 450cc and reigning Kenya Enduro champion Harry Guelker. Barrak Orland and Stephane Duyck came fifth and sixth in the same class.
In the 125cc, Kenya's Tony Porter emerged the winner. Uganda's Jack Evans, Olivier Van Pee, Harry Klonaridis and Hood Ssemugoma finished between 6th and 9th.
In the 85cc category, Maxim Van Pee was the highest placed Ugandan in fourth.
