South Africa: Selebi Accuser Investigated for Intimidation

Johannesburg — THE acrimonious dispute between national police commissioner Jackie Selebi and the former head of national airports security, Paul O'Sullivan, has taken a dramatic twist -- the police's crime intelli-gence unit has confirmed it is investigating a case of intimidation against O'Sullivan.

This follows allegedly "intimidating and insulting" cell-phone text messages that O'Sullivan allegedly sent to Selebi through Selebi's deputy, André Pruis, last Tuesday.
