Uganda: Two Butaleja Farmers to Tour Egypt

Kampala — FISHERIES state minister Fred Mukisa has promised to send two fish farmers from Nampologoma in Butaleja district to Egypt, for training in fish farming and irrigation.

Speaking to farmers at Doho Rice Scheme recently, Mukisa said he felt challenged when he visited Egypt and found the Nile water was being used for intensive fish and fruit farming.
