Konigstein — Father Dr. Andrzej Halemba, the new director responsible for Africa's non-French speaking countries at the Catholic charity Aid to the Church in Need's (ACN) has outlined major challenges for the continent.

"One of the biggest problems for most African countries is foreign debt. This is a new kind of slavery," the expert, who served as a missionary in Zambia for many years, said on Monday. He also named the "expansion of radical Islam", a "new boom of witchcraft fuelled by Aids and poverty" and "internal migration" as crucial concerns.
