Addis Ababa — Ethiopia has obtained 240.7 million US dollars from export during the first quarter of the fiscal year, exceeding the amount earned in the same period last budget year by 15.5 million dollars, the Ministry of Finance and Economic Development announced.
According to a document released by the ministry, out of the stated sum earned in the period, coffee has contributed 90.9 million dollar which is 37.7 per cent of the total. The document noted that coffee's share of the revenue for the same period last year was 30.4 per cent.
