The statement reported elsewhere in this edition attributed to the Deputy Commissioner of Police Kenny Kapinga to the effect that drivers on our roads must change their behaviour is spot on.
Kapinga 's message comes at a time when everyone is bracing him/herself for both the Christmas and New Year celebrations. The festive season is a period when instead of accidents and the carnage taking place on our roads abating there is an upsurge in such incidents. One needs no special skills to appraise the madness and carnage that have come to characterise driving on our roads.
