Uganda: Unicef Earmarks Sh500b for North

Kampala — THE UN children's agency, Unicef, has earmarked US$296m (about sh544b) for HIV/AIDS intervention in north and north-eastern Uganda.

The funds will be released in 2007 if the Juba peace talks succeed and the internally displaced persons return to their homes.
