Nigeria: Glo-CAF Awards Two Private Jets for Nominees

Lagos — lobacom has offered to station private jets to fly in some of the star nominees for the 2006 African Footballer of the Year to the venue of the awards ceremonies in Accra, Ghana. This development was conveyed to the Confederation of African Football (CAF) by officials of the telecommunication company as part of the project planned to ensure a very successful ceremony.

Sources at the Mike Adenuga Towers' operational base of Globacom, disclosed that two private jets will be involved in the operation aimed at adding class and glamour to the African awards. "We look at what FIFA and UEFA have been doing at their own ceremonies and Globacom is convinced that Africa can match and even surpass their standards", volunteered the source.
