Nigeria: Investors Declare Willingness to Increase Stake in Dunlop

Lagos — Major investors and leaders of shareholders' groups across Nigeria have expressed their willingness to invest in the on-going hybrid rights and public offers of Dunlop Nigeria Plc, describing the offers as windows of opportunities.

Speaking at an Investors' forum organized by Dunlop Nigeria to provide background information to investors in Lagos at the weekend, they said they were convinced that on-going offers hold good prospects for investors. Leaders of major shareholders' associations and investors' representatives said "The rights issue and public offer for subscription provide double windows of opportunities to take positions in Dunlop Nigeria as the company begins to reap from its investment in its new state-of-the-art factory.
