Harare — ZIMSUN, the country's largest hotels and leisure group, is to double the capacity of its hotels to 4 000 by 2010, chief executive officer Shingi Munyeza has said.
The capacity expansion is meant to take advantage of the anticipated rise in tourist arrivals to the region for the 2010 Fifa World Cup in South Africa. Another hotel operator, Meikles Africa, also recently announced its own plans to upgrade its hotels ahead of the tournament.
