Kigali — On the fourth day of hearing the role of France in the 1994 genocide, the Mucyo Commission heard further chilling allegations of rape and killings of the Bagogwe by French soldiers in 1992.

Testifying on Thursday, December 15 Witness No.4, an ex-FAR serving under No.53058 also said the French troops looted expensive cars and committed other unpalatable deeds during Rwanda's dark days. "We used to go with the French to attack and kill Bagogwe. The French ordered us never to use guns and instead advised us to use sticks (ubuhiri) fitted with nails. I personally went with a French Sergeant one day. When we got to one house, I knocked on the door and someone opened the door. The French soldier hit him first and then I joined in. We went on such missions in Bigogwe about four times and on all occasions, we went with the French. I personally killed more than ten Bagogwe," Witness No. 4 said.
