One of Those African Leaders Who Had Lasting Impact On His People, is Mwalimu Julius Nyerere of Tanzania. the Name Nyerere And His Socialist Philosophy Could Be Said to Be As Popular As the Country of His Native Birth. My Secret Hope Has Always Been That One Day, One Could Make It to Tanzania, to Discover the Truth in the Overwhelming Myth Surrounding Nyerere.

Nevertheless, the journey to Tanzania was not a planned one. Recently, I was informed that I would be travelling to Tanzania on the bill of Celtel Nigeria. By the following Tuesday night a couple of other Nigerian Journalists and I were airborne after the usual airport checks and all that. The fear that most of us harboured was that the six- hour- flight could be very boring, as the Kenyan Airways flight attendants went through the normal directives on air safety precautions.But before they could finish the ritual in their heavy East- African accents, the variety of multimedia entertainment packages on board kept one busy.
