Ethiopia: Meles Says Gov't Ready to Repeat Rural Dev't Success in Towns

Bahir Dar — Prime Minister Meles Zenawi said that his government has made adequate preparations to repeat the rapid development growth registered in rural parts of the country in towns.

Speaking at the national awarding ceremony of 575 model farmers,kebele and woreda leaders,development workers and cooperatives as well as unions at the National farmers Festival here Sunday the prime minister said that the government has been in the forefront of the struggle for development by devising appropriate development strategy based on rural and agricultural development relying on the farmers.
